Great food

The soup base here is very good and there's a good selection of items available for the buffet. They also have really good dessert options as well.

The only thing missing is a wheelchair to roll you put the door!

The staff was really helpful to us newcomers. It was a great dinner.

Affordable hot pot with reasonable selection of items.

Who could ask for anything more? Excellent hot pot with just enough unique selections to fill me up without overeating. Buffet-style for everything from veggies to meats. Large selection especially of different fish balls (loved the taro with fish and lobster). Very interesting desserts too!

Little more diverse options than your typical hotpot. Tucked away on a side street this is a hidden gem with a home-y feel.

Love this place. You pick your own broth. I tried satay broth which was very tasty and a little spicy. Good selection of meat, tofu, noodle, and dessert. The place is clean. Will definitely go there again.

I'm loving hot pot. This is buffet style.you get your broth and then go pick items and sauces I tend to have eyes bigger than my tummy. So i went easy because if you take too much and can't finish it they will song you $5. For wasting food. Great policy I think. It does reduce on waste and food cost . The decor is nice and the owners seem very friendly I'll be back

It wasnt too busy which was nice. The food was decent, but most, if not all, of the meat items were frozen. Not the biggest selection, but that had some good items like mussels.

Not as many choices as other hot pot but had all the items I love eating. Price is the best in the city. The peanut sauce was out of this world.

Always love it here. Just one star short cuz they don't have A.C. it gets way too hot in there especially during warmer months.

Went to this little place for the 1st time. It was excellent! Service was great and hot pot selection was awesome. Everything was fresh and was a great selection of veggies and meats and noodles. Will go back again for sure!

The broths were great. Buffet style selection. Mostly frozen meats but it tasted really good. Lots of seafood options. Jelly dessert station. Attractive decor and nice staff.

I don't live in Edmonton but I've managed to go here twice. It's nice having my own pot so I can put in what I want. Plus being able to just grab food in whatever amount is nice. Instead of getting an order of something it's easy to try one or two items or grab just one more of this or that near the end. No need to order everything up front or flag down a waiter. Both times I went the food was good and well stocked, and the staff was nice.

What a gem!When my friend asked me to go hotpot, I wasn't too interested...but THAI hotpot...now that's interesting!Huge selection of fish balls, meats, and sauces. Even thai desserts.

Best hot pot in town!

Place was clean, kind of a family ran feel. Soup bases all very good. Selection for items was good. Everything was very tasty and they have all you can eat. I feel like had I saved myself for this place I may have been able to throw down twice as much food and maybe eeeked out a Five Star.

Poor selection of meat. Two stars are for the broth which was pretty good (satay and Tom yum). Owner rudely stared at us when we asked for water; didn’t have any to start. He also gave us a mean stare when we asked for more soup. There are other better hot pots in the city. Asian Express hot pot is the best near downtown area.

I love hot pot and this just became my favorite hot pot in town. The variety of food is so great, probably the most complete I ever saw here.The staff is great and always helpful.They do not have as many options of sauce as other hot pots but they have all the ones I like.They have sugar cane drink(in can), I used to drink the fresh made in farmers market every week back in Brazil. It was not the same but helped with the nostalgia.And to close the meal with an gold medal they have delicious desserts. I put some basil seeds on the tapioca and corn, then covered with the coconut milk... Taste so good and so refreshing.

Clean and welcoming restaurant! Great introduction to hot pot. Super friendly owner. I was new to hot pot, while my boyfriend was seasoned from hotpot in Asia, we both enjoyed our experience and dinner here! Not a huge selection of food, but everything that is there is delicious and fresh. Restaurant wasn't busy when we ate there, but we prefer a personal experience. We will be eating here again!

Love this place! Went for my birthday celebration with my friends and had an awesome time! Definitely recommend this place. Great selection of items for your pot and it's nice to be able to pick them yourself!

Good food, but a bit on the pricy side compared to what is available elsewhere.

The owner claims that his hot pot restaurant is a buffet but he complained at how much I ate. Showed up to eat there and he turned us away and said he can't handle our eating habits. Don't eat too much in his "buffet restaurant" or you'll get banned. I do not recommend this place for buffet. Been there 1x only and I got banned for eating too much 😂

Loved this little hidden gem. The owner was super friendly and there was no wait. Clean establishment. Great service, tasty hot pot and the price was about $30/pp. We'll be back!

I would like to beging by saying that if you are looking for a place with delicious food and the best customer service you have ever experienced, look no further because Bangkok Hot Pot will go above and beyond to ensure that you leave their restaurant happy and with a full stomach. I would definitely go back.

Tonight I went for my first hot pot. Bangkok was a good choice for that. There was a wide selection of meats, noodles and greens to choose from. I was unfamiliar with hot pot but was lucky enough to have local to show me the ropes. Under the meat section we found the basic beef, beef balls, fish and fishballs but if feeling adventurous there are the organ meats. This place is tucked into a residential area just off a main strip so there does not seem to be a lot of "drive by and drip in" traffic. It seems the kind of place where you have to know somebody who knows about it but, that us okay. Not crowded but definitely a steady bunch if people in and out.

Good variety of food, I like the grab it yourself concept. Great beef, seafood, and fish cakes! They satay broth is amazing. Drinks are cheap. Overall a really good family run hotpot shop.

Great soup and selection of food items to go into the soup. Always ask for a refill of the broth as they will only do it if you want it. Their XO sauce is one of the best. Friendly owner and staff. Usually not crowded as it’s location is a bit hidden.

Quaint place in quiet neighborhood. Induction elements work well for heating broth. Buffet style layout and food items have been fresh on the visits I have made. Decent price in comparison to other All you can Eat hotpots in area.
